Y5 Photos 2022-23

Year 5 have had a brilliant time at Tree Top Nets for their end of year trip!  The rain certainly did not interrupt their fun!

What a fun week STEM week has been!  Year 5 have been experimenting, designing and engineering all week.  They have experimented with how to keep an egg safe when it is dropped, designed lots of different aeroplanes to see which one was the best and then made their own marble run.  We also had a visit from Sublime Science who kept them all hooked with all sorts of fascinating experiments.  Take a look at what they have been up to!

Year 5 had the opportunity to meet and listen to Nathan Maguire the Paralympian.  He was so interesting and di some great activities with the children and they really enjoyed it!

Year 5 have been working hard on their collage final pieces using inspiration from Dadism, Cubism or Surrealism to help.  Aren't they great!

Year 5 have had a brilliant day at Stockport Air Raid Shelters (4.5.23).  They have been immersed in the evacuee experience and lots of memories have been made!

Year 5 have been busing learning printing techniques.  They have used them to create a piece of art work inspired by the Blitz - aren't they great!

Residential Trip to Kingswood - chilly but some great memories made!
