Meet the Environment Tribe…

The Environment Tribe is made up of Key Stage One and Key Stage Two pupils, although sometimes the tribe will meet in separate groups. We think about what our environment is like in school and the wider world, and how we can make this better.

Gardening Project…

In small groups we have been clearing and improving our Millennium Garden area.

Trying to see if we had any useful compost in our compost heap.

Break The Rules Day…

We thought up ways to raise funds for our gardening project. We settled on ‘Break the Rules’, the rules had to be voted on and then vetted. This was a great success and now the tribe are thinking about how best to spend the funds they have raised to make their gardening project;

1. Good for the environment

2. An inspiring space to sit in

3. Help us develop our skills and knowledge of gardening

BREAK: No teddies or toys in school.
BREAK: Bring a healthy snack!

Litter Pick:

We wanted to mark the official Great British Spring Clean by taking to our local community. The Tribe advertised this and all classes took part.
