Dear Parents/Carers,

We have another exciting term ahead of us, with lots to look forward to. In Geography, we will be exploring Fairtrade and thinking about how our choices can make a difference around the world. In History, we will travel back to World War II, where we’ll learn about what life was like during this time. As part of this topic, we’re really looking forward to our visit to the Stockport Air Raid Shelters, which will bring our learning to life. It’s set to be a busy and engaging term, and we can’t wait to get started.

PE is on Wednesdays and Thursdays until half term – remember that children will now need to wear their PE kit to school on these days.

Homework is given out on a Friday and needs to be returned by Wednesday (sometimes Monday!) 

Spellings are given out on a Monday and tested on the following Monday

Reading books are changed whenever they are finished.  But we need to see that children have read 3 times a week (minimum). That runs from Friday to Friday.
