Striving for excellence whilst caring for all

Photos 2017-18 Summer Term

Today was our end of year trip to Tree Top Trek at Heaton Park.  We had a fabulous day in the sunshine.  Our pictures show what we have been up to!

We have had an amazing visitor in Class 5!  We have had Dean from Meetacreature come in and show us lots of animals linked to the Rainforest. We have done some observational drawings, asked and answered lot of questions, had the opportunity to handle many of the creatures and we have found out so much about them.  Take a look at what we have been doing.

We have made and designed our own rain forest shelters.

The children had had crazy hair today (21.5.18)to help raise money for the NSPCC.

As part of our class topic on the Rainforest the children have been completing their own projects at home.  Here are some of the wonderful creations.

Some of the children have made a PowerPoint.  Click to download them and have a look!

Lucas made a movie!

We have been looking at the message in the story of Peter and Cornelius.  We created a piece of art using a medium of our choice to show God's message.

We had a lovely time celebrating the impending nuptials of Harry and Meghan.  We made sandwiches and decorated buns before tucking into them in the afternoon!

What a great day we have had in year 5. Many thanks to all parents for engaging with our creative project this week. All cakes and cookies brought in were brilliant and enjoyed by everyone!
