Striving for excellence whilst caring for all

Class 5 Photographs

Rainforest Trip to Bolton Museum.

We went to Bolton Museum to learn all about the rain forest. We found out about all the animals in the rainforest and why they like that kind of environment. We even held some of the insects and gave them names!

Maths and 3d shape fun!

Having fun making 3d shapes using blu-tack and and art straws! It's actually harder than it looks!

Awesome Alliteration Activity!

We were thinking of alliteration phrases for each letter! Lots of fun and some super silly sentences!

Egyptian Artwork

We made canopic jars using clay - we added great detail!

Drama - Acting out the Highwayman Poem.

Maths Loop cards!

We have loved learning about the anglo-saxons. They were very interesting people! We have been busy making fact files, shields, artwork, presentations, swords. Look at our creations, we have worked hard at school and at home. Well done class 5, your teachers are really proud of you!

World Book Day 2015

Look at our amazing costumes from David Walliams books! Our class winner was Kaitlen! Well done Demon Dentist!

Red Nose Day!

We made some fantastic red noses and the school council picked a winner!

Science Week - Eggploring!

We have had some chicks visit our school for National science and engineering week. Have a look at the gallery page for lots of details. Here are some pictures of them hatching.

Chick cuddles!

Life cycle of a plant - beans!

We have been learning about flowers and how they reproduce. We planted seeds to germinate them and make them grow so we can watch the cycle ourselves.

Music Madness

As part of the children's university course, we went to Kearsley Adaemy to a music workshop. We played 'Uptown funk'.

Guitar Talent

We were lucky to get a small demonstration from our class! Great work guys!
